A lesson about not being too confident.

By: Isaac Murcio

Once upon a time, there was a lion named Jo. He was 100 feet tall.

He could run 99 miles per hour. He saw there was a lion competition that was an obstacle race.

“I should do that,” Jo said.

However, Jo wasn’t scared because he thought he was the fastest lion. The fastest lion was gray.

His name was Brian. He was mean and wanted to beat him, but Jo wasn’t worried.

One day, the race started, and it was time to start the obstacle course.

The referee, Bob, said, “Go.” Jo ran in the first place, then he got in last place.

When the race was finally over, he lost the race.

The day after the race was over, he was super mad.

He did not want to do it again, so he returned home and threw everything out of his house because he was lost.

He went to bed and thought about everything that he had done wrong.

Even though Jo lost, he learned a very important lesson: Never be too confident.
